1. Gather your tools.

2. Turn off the water supply.

3. Remove the handle.

Once the water supply is turned off, you can remove the faucet handle. Most faucet handles are held in place by a small screw. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screw and then pull the handle straight up to remove it.

5. Inspect the cartridge.

6. Replace the o-rings.

The o-rings are small rubber gaskets that create a seal between the cartridge and the faucet body. Over time, the o-rings can become worn or damaged, which can cause the faucet to leak. Replace the o-rings with new ones.

7. Reinstall the cartridge.

Once the o-rings are replaced, you can reinstall the cartridge. Push the cartridge back into the faucet body until it clicks into place.

8. Reinstall the handle.

Once the cartridge is reinstalled, you can reinstall the handle. Align the handle with the stem and push it down until it clicks into place.

9. Turn on the water supply.

Once the handle is reinstalled, you can turn on the water supply. Check for any leaks. If there are any leaks, tighten the packing nut (located under the handle) with an adjustable wrench.
