If the bathtub faucet is turned on and the water is still not running, it's likely that the problem is with the cartridge. The cartridge is a small device that controls the flow of water through the faucet. To replace the cartridge, you will need to remove the handle and unscrew the cartridge.

Once you have replaced the cartridge, turn the water back on and check to see if the problem has been fixed. If the water is still not running, you may need to call a plumber.

Here are some additional tips for troubleshooting bathtub water problems:

Check the aerator. The aerator is a small screen that is located at the end of the faucet. If the aerator is clogged, it can restrict the flow of water.
Clean the faucet. Over time, mineral deposits can build up on the faucet. This can also restrict the flow of water.
Check the water pressure. If the water pressure is too low, it can cause the water to not flow properly.
