Step 1: Gather Your Tools and Materials

Step 2: Turn Off the Water Supply

Before you start working on the faucet, it's important to turn off the water supply. Locate the shut-off valves under the sink or behind the faucet and turn them clockwise to close them.

Step 3: Remove the Faucet Handle

Use a screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the faucet handle in place. Once the screw is removed, you should be able to pull the handle off the stem.

Step 4: Remove the Stem Nut
