The plumber's putty will help to create a seal between the faucet and the sink or bathtub. 7.Reinstall the faucet stem.
Insert the faucet stem into the faucet body. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to tighten the screws that hold the faucet stem in place. 8.Reinstall the faucet handle.
Slide the faucet handle onto the faucet stem. Use the adjustable wrench to tighten the packing nut that holds the faucet handle in place. 9.Turn on the water supply to the faucet.
Check for leaks. If you see any leaks, tighten the packing nut or the screws that hold the faucet stem in place until the leak stops.
